Registered Veterinary Technician

Moreland Animal Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Veterinary Technician to join our team!

What You’ll Do

As a valued member of our team, you will play a key role in both patient care and client experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting surgical and dental procedures from start to finish
  • Patient prep and recovery
  • Anesthesia induction and monitoring
  • Dental cleanings and dental radiographs
• Maintaining efficient and organized exam room flow
• Providing clear, compassionate client communication
• Reviewing treatment plans and delivering discharge instructions
• Assisting veterinarians during outpatient visits
• Ensuring the highest level of patient care through teamwork and attention to detail

This position is ideal for detail-oriented technicians who are passionate about exceptional patient and client care, and ready to work at the top of their license in a supportive, team-focused environment

Schedule

• Full-time, 5/8 schedule
• Monday–Friday: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends!

Full-time benefits and compensation**:

• Compensation: $22-25 per hour, for each hour worked*
• Bonus package: $2000
• CE allowance: up to $1,000 annually based on tenure

What We’re Looking For

• Current Veterinary Technician License (Georgia)
• 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience
• Strong technical and communication skills
• A positive, team-oriented mindset

Proficiency in:

• Anesthesia induction & monitoring
• Advanced dental prophylaxis & radiographs
• Cystocentesis
• IV catheter placement
• IV/IM injections
• Microscope evaluation
