Role Overview:

Orbit ISS is URGENTLY looking for a Regulatory Compliance Engineer (HVDC) to lead CE marking, EU regulatory compliance, ATEX/PED/MED certification, and DGUV V3 alignment for HVAC and E&I systems. This role includes full oversight of certification activities, vendor compliance validation, and management of technical documentation for offshore HVDC systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with EU directives (Machinery, LVD, ATEX, PED, MED, CPR).
  • Validate vendor equipment certifications and documentation.
  • Coordinate with design, procurement, vendors, and certification bodies.
  • Lead risk assessments and prepare Declarations of Conformity (DoC).
  • Maintain compliance matrices, technical files, and traceability documents.
  • Oversee DGUV V3 and ATEX requirements for E&I.
  • Support HVAC self-certification and MC/ITR handover.
  • Track certification status and identify compliance gaps.
  • Provide training on CE marking and regulatory requirements.


Requirements

  • Diploma/Bachelor’s in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 5 years in CE marking, certification, or regulatory compliance (offshore/renewables/HVDC preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of EU safety legislation (ATEX, PED, MED, CPR, DGUV V3).
  • Experience with DoC/CoC validation & technical file preparation.
  • Familiarity with ISO standards and risk assessments.
  • Strong coordination, documentation, and communication skills.
