Relief Coordinator & Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Relief Coordinator & Specialist to manage humanitarian relief operations and coordinate emergency response activities for development projects. This role operates on a call-off consultancy basis, providing specialized relief coordination services across multiple humanitarian and development projects as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate humanitarian relief operations and emergency response
• Develop and implement relief strategies and programs
• Manage relationships with humanitarian agencies and partners
• Ensure effective resource allocation and distribution
• Monitor and evaluate relief program effectiveness
• Provide situation analysis and reporting to stakeholders
• Support capacity building for local relief organizations

Required Qualifications:

• University degree in Administration, Public Relations, Engineering, International Relations, or related field from a recognized institution
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience in humanitarian relief and coordination
• Strong knowledge of humanitarian principles and standards
• Experience with international relief organizations and operations
• Excellent coordination and communication skills

Preferred Experience:

• Infrastructure development projects
• Buildings and construction sector experience
• Humanitarian and emergency response
• Fit-out and rehabilitation projects
• Development projects in economic, health, and education sectors
