Remote Python Web Scraper & Lead Research Specialist (Business Data – USA Leads)

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Python web scraper and lead research specialist to build a system that collects business information from public sources in the United States. The goal is to find new and existing businesses and extract structured contact data for sales outreach.

What You Will Do

You will scrape and collect business data from publicly available sources such as:

• City and county permit websites
• Business registration databases (USA state-level sites)
• Certificates of Occupancy (CO) listings
• DBA / assumed name records
• Google Maps business listings (if possible)
• Other public directories

You will then help build a clean dataset of:

• Business name
• Business address
• Business owner or manager name
• Phone number
• Email
• Business category (restaurant, retail, salon, etc.)
• Business status (new, opening soon, existing)

Responsibilities

• Write Python scripts for web scraping (Scrapy / BeautifulSoup / Selenium / Playwright)
• Extract business data from websites and PDFs (if needed)
• Clean and organize data into Excel/CSV format
• Remove duplicates and ensure data accuracy
• Help improve scraping scripts when websites change
• Optional: basic data enrichment using public sources Deliverables
• Daily and weekly scraped business lead lists
• Structured Excel/CSV files with contact information
• Automated or semi-automated scraping scripts
• Clean and organized database of US business leads

Required Skills

• Strong Python skills
• Web scraping experience (Scrapy / Selenium / BeautifulSoup)
• Ability to handle dynamic websites
• Basic data cleaning (Excel, CSV, Pandas)
• Understanding of proxies / anti-bot handling (basic level)

Timings: 7:00 PM to 4:00 AM (Monday through Friday)

Work Location: Remote
