MDA Public Affairs, a leading consultancy firm based in Trenton, New Jersey, is seeking a diligent and organised professional to join our team as a Virtual Administrative Assistant. This is a fully remote position with both part-time and full-time opportunities available.
MDA Public Affairs offers a wide spectrum of services, including advocacy, non-profit and government management, event management, fundraising support, and business process consulting. As a Virtual Administrative Assistant, you will provide crucial support to our diverse and experienced executive management team, enabling us to deliver creative strategies and achieve outstanding results for our clients in New Jersey’s public policy arena.
The offered compensation for this role is $29.00 - $30.00 USD per hour.
Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain executive calendars, scheduling meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.
- Handle incoming and outgoing communications, including emails and phone calls, with a high degree of professionalism.
- Prepare, format, and edit reports, presentations, and correspondence.
- Assist with the logistical coordination of virtual and in-person events.
- Provide administrative support for fundraising and advocacy campaigns.
- Conduct research on public policy matters, clients, and other relevant topics as required.
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records within our company databases and CRM systems.
- Handle sensitive and confidential information with the utmost discretion.
- Offer general administrative support to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the team.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Virtual Assistant, Administrative Assistant, or in a similar administrative role.
- Exceptional organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
- The ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a remote setting.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail.
- A reliable high-speed internet connection and a dedicated, quiet workspace.
- Experience within public affairs, non-profit, or government sectors is desirable but not essential.
