Renewables & Utilities Sales Leader

We are seeking an experienced Power & Utilities Sales Leader to drive growth in the renewable energy sector, with a strong emphasis on solar energy solutions. This role will lead business development, sales strategy, and major opportunity management across the Power & Utilities portfolio.


Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree required

  • MBA in Marketing preferred


Technical Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint


Experience

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in the renewable energy sector

  • Strong preference for experience within the solar industry


Key Responsibilities

  • Lead sales and business development activities for the Power & Utilities portfolio within the renewable energy market.

  • Conduct market surveys, support internal networks, and manage proposals, bidding processes, and tenders.

  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies based on deep understanding of client needs and market trends.

  • Oversee major/key sales opportunities from identification to successful closure.

  • Maintain an updated pipeline of projects, opportunities, and large-scale tenders.

  • Coordinate and steer the renewable energy market sector network.

  • Ensure high levels of client satisfaction through strong relationship management.

  • Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents, EOIs, commercial and technical offers, and tender submissions.

Business Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development and sales within the renewable energy market, especially solar.

  • Strong background in developing market strategies, sales growth plans, and revenue expansion initiatives in the renewable sector.
