Head of Property Management – Real Estate

Job Description

Role Overview

The Head of Property Management – Real Estate leads the strategic and operational management of the company’s real estate portfolio, ensuring efficient operations, regulatory compliance, strong tenant relationships, and optimized asset performance across residential, commercial, retail, and mixed-use properties.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day management of the real estate portfolio in line with asset and investment strategies
• Drive property value enhancement, operational efficiency, and tenant retention
• Lead property operations including maintenance, facilities, compliance, and sustainability
• Manage operating and service charge budgets, rental income, costs, and recoveries
• Support leasing performance through lease administration, renewals, rent reviews, and tenant management
• Ensure compliance with landlord-tenant laws, statutory requirements, and lease obligations
• Identify and mitigate operational, legal, and financial risks
• Lead and develop property management teams and manage third-party service providers
• Report on key real estate KPIs including occupancy, NOI, operating costs, and asset condition
• Support asset repositioning, refurbishment, and redevelopment initiatives

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in real estate, property management, business, or related field
• 10+ years’ experience in real estate property management, including leadership roles
• Proven experience managing income-producing real estate assets
• Strong knowledge of leases, service charges, landlord obligations, and property regulations
