Research and Technology Transfer Specialist

pladis is looking for Research and Technology Transfer Specialist for our pladis Turkey R&D Team Ülker.

What will be your key deliverables?

• Develops, designs, prepares and leads industrial scientific based research projects for biscuit, cake, categories especially cereals categories and new business opportunities.
• Establishes partnerships with universities, research institutes, and category R&D teams to expand pladis technical capabilities and to escalate resources as needed to minimize resource shortages.
• Manages open innovation projects performing by universities, research institutes and business partners.
• Develops project scope, budgets, timelines and project status reports of scientific research and innovation projects.
• Search for new opportunities of proven science and novel technologies to transfer the existing lines.

What do you need for this role?

• PhD in Food Science, or related field required.
• Minimum of 3 years scientific research related experience in the food or related industry or academia.
• Strong background in fundamentals of food technology and engineering.
• Knowledge in cereal science, confectionery product, processes and manufacturing technology preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in scientific and technic English.
• Documented ability to work collaboratively with cross functional teams.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office products programs.
• Strong documentation, organization and time management skills.
