JOB SUMMARY:


The research data analyst will manage data collection and analysis for research projects in the Center for Addiction and Mental Health Research. This position also assists with administrative tasks related to project management, communications, proposal development, event planning, and reporting to funding agencies. This position entails attending team meetings and collaborating with researchers and staff to support the research mission. This position will also include summarizing data in written reports and presentations. Some travel may be required. Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB DUTIES:


40% - Essential - Project Management:
Manages various aspects of research project initiation, maintenance, and completion. Assists with IRB submissions, survey distribution, participant recruitment and enrollment, data collection, data entry, and database management. May engage in some supervision of undergraduate research assistants.

40% - Essential - Data Analysis and Reporting:
Conducts qualitative and quantitative data analysis under supervision. Presents data in charts and graphic presentations. Works with research teams to develop and submit scientific manuscripts and conference presentations. Assists in developing reports for funding agencies and ensuring compliance with reporting.

20% - Essential - Administration and Communications:
Manages administrative tasks related to grant activities including organizing meetings, facilitating proposal development, and organizing submission. Assists with communications for the Center for Addiction and Mental Health Research including newsletters, website updates, social media, and networking events.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:


Education - High School or Equivalent - And work experience in a clinical or research setting.
Work Exp 1+ years

Education - 1st Bachelor's Degree - In Psychology, Sociology, Public Health

Standard Hrs: 37.5; Monday-Friday, 8am-4:30pm

COMPENSATION INFORMATION


Band: G06 (expected range: $ 37,200.00 - $ 50,000.00)


Salary is dependent upon several factors including, but not limited to, a candidate's previous experience, knowledge, skills and performance in accordance with Clemson's compensation guidelines.


ESSENTIAL PERSONNEL LEVEL


Normal Operations

Required to follow emergency facility closure directives, and not normally expected work on-site during emergency situations.
