Job Specific Accountabilities:
R&D Proposal and Project Design:

Design and develop experimental protocols and data collection methods for R&D projects aligned with the organization’s strategic objectives.

Independently participate in preparation of R&D proposal components, outlining objectives, methodologies, and expected outcomes to ensure project effectiveness.
Research Implementation:

Conduct R&D activities and lab experiments, analyze data using statistical tools, and apply findings through publications and presentation.

Monitor project progress and adapt strategies to ensure success.
Collaborative R&D Initiatives and Scientific Consultations:

Participate in R&D projects within the organization and externally.

Providing technical input and consultation upon request to support project development.

Contributing to the review of R&D output and assisting in the efforts toward technology commercialization.

Assist in evaluating research outputs for potential translation and real-world application.

Leverage opportunities for cross-functional collaboration, building partnerships with academic institutions, industry leaders, and other stakeholders to drive impactful research outcomes.
Commercialization and Technology Transfer:

Evaluate the feasibility and potential of emerging technologies, conduct in-depth technical assessments to ensure that research outcomes are both scientifically robust and practically relevant.

Analysis and assessment of the market’s commercial viability of new technologies to enhance the chances of successful technology commercialization and scaling in coordination with the Commercialization and Technology Transfer function.
Knowledge Transfer:

Contribute to knowledge-sharing initiatives, ensuring the effective dissemination of R&D findings within the organization.

Jointly publish research in reputable scientific journals and present findings at conferences to contribute to the global scientific community and stay updated on the latest advancements.

Engage in exhibitions, scientific events, and outreach activities to highlight the institute’s research contributions and foster collaboration with industry and academia.
Qualifications:
Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Scientific or Engineering Fields, Laboratory Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Geology, Remote Sensing, Gis, Atmospheric Sciences Environmental Science, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics, Laboratory Safety and Management, Astronomy, Astrophysics and Geophysics or any related filed
