About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Resident CCNP Engineer to provide advanced technical expertise in enterprise network infrastructure, security, and unified communications. The ideal candidate will possess strong hands-on experience with Cisco technologies and a proven track record in designing, implementing, and maintaining complex enterprise network solutions.

Key Responsibilities
- Routing & Switching:
- Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 protocols, including OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VRF-lite, and route redistribution.
- Support and optimize enterprise network environments leveraging Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches and routers.
- Network Security:
- Design, implement, and manage firewall solutions with Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) and FortiGate platforms.
- Administer VPNs (SSL/IPSec) and enforce security policies through Cisco FMC and FortiManager.
- Collaboration & Unified Communications:
- Manage Cisco Unified Communications Manager (CUCM) environments, including IP phone provisioning, Webex integration, and user administration.
- Support related systems such as Cisco Unity Connection.
- Access Control & NAC:
- Deploy and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for network access control, including guest access and policy enforcement via RADIUS, TACACS+, and 802.1X.
- Data Center & Virtualization:
- Operate and maintain Cisco UCS blade and rack infrastructure using UCS Manager, service profiles, and fabric interconnects.
- Support virtualization environments including VMware ESXi.
- Server & Security Management:
- Perform basic administration of Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
- Utilize SIEM tools for monitoring and analyzing security events and logs.
Qualifications
- Required Certification: Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) or higher.
- Experience: Minimum 5+ years in enterprise networking and security.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong expertise in Cisco networking hardware and software.
- Proficiency in firewall management (Cisco FTD, FortiGate).
- Working knowledge of virtualization, UCS, and Microsoft Server environments.
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation abilities.
- Strong customer engagement and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert (CCIE) — Routing & Switching, Security, or Collaboration.
- Experience with automation or scripting (Python, Ansible) for network operations.
- Familiarity with cloud networking (AWS, Azure) is a plus.
