Resident Engineer - Civil

We are seeking an experienced Resident Engineer (Civil) to join a supervision consultancy team for a large-scale infrastructure development project located approximately 100 km north of Jeddah . The selected candidate will be responsible for overseeing construction activities, ensuring compliance with project specifications, design standards, and quality requirements.

• Lead and manage the site supervision team and act as the primary point of contact between the consultant, contractor, and client .

• Oversee construction activities related to road networks and associated infrastructure works .

• Supervise installation and construction of potable water networks and firefighting systems .

• Monitor works related to gas distribution networks .

• Supervise construction of stormwater drainage and sanitary sewage systems .

• Oversee power distribution works (MV & LV) including associated infrastructure.

• Supervise installation of street lighting and telecom infrastructure .

• Monitor works related to irrigation systems and landscaping .

• Ensure all works are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards .

• Review contractor submissions, method statements, and shop drawings.

• Monitor project progress, resolve site issues, and ensure adherence to project timelines and safety standards .

• Prepare and review site reports, progress reports, and technical documentation .

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.

• Extensive experience in infrastructure supervision projects .

• Proven experience in supervising roadworks and multi-utility infrastructure including water, sewage, stormwater, gas, power, telecom, irrigation, and landscape works.

• Prior experience working with engineering consultancy firms in a supervision capacity is mandatory.

• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and reporting abilities.
