Residential Service Plumber

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, repair, and install residential and light commercial plumbing systems, including water heaters, fixtures, water lines, drains, and sewage systems.
• Perform plumbing rough-ins and finish work for remodels and new construction projects.
• Conduct leak detection, pipe inspections, and system troubleshooting using modern tools and technology.
• Provide drain cleaning and sewer line service, including camera inspections and hydro jetting.
• Clearly communicate with customers about plumbing issues, service recommendations, and repair options.
• Complete work orders, invoices, and job notes accurately using Armor Air’s mobile service software.
• Maintain a clean work area, service vehicle, and jobsite at all times.
• Participate in rotating on-call shifts and emergency service availability.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of plumbing experience in residential environments (required).
• Valid plumbing license or apprentice card for Tennessee (or ability to obtain).
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills with attention to detail and workmanship.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in tight spaces, crawlspaces, and attics.
• Excellent communication, customer service, and time management skills.
• Professional appearance and team-oriented attitude.
• Comfort using mobile apps and service dispatch software.
• Preferred: Experience in water heater installs (tank and tankless), sewer repairs, or trenchless systems.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Hourly Rate: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour (depending on experience and licensing).
