Shift Details

• 3x12 or 4x12's Weekend Nights: 18:30--07:00
• Holiday coverage expected
  
  

Requirements

• 2 years of experience in Adult Critical Care
• 1 prior travel assignment completed
• BLS and CRT certifications
• MD State licensure
• ED experience preferred
• ACLS preferred
  
  

Special Equipment

• Ventilators: Draeger V500, Servo U
  
  

Job Responsibilities

• Airway Management Devices/Suctioning
• Endotracheal tube/suctioning, Extubation, Nasal airway placement
• Oral airway placement, Pulmonary Hygiene, Sputum specimen collection
• Tracheostomy/suctioning, ABG interpretation
  
  

Skills Required

• Experience with various inhaled medications and devices
• High Flow Nasal Cannula (HFNC), Trach collar, BiPAP, CPAP
• Comfortable drawing and analyzing ABGs
• Experience with Cerner charting system
  
  

Facility Information

This facility is a Member of the COTH with a total of 338 staffed beds. Note that all employees are required to have the Flu vaccine. Scrubs are not provided; scrub color is ceil blue.
