Respiratory Therapist

AS A RESPIRATORY THERAPIST, you'll calibrate, inspect and test all respiratory care equipment to insure proper operating condition. Disassembles, cleans and sterilizes equipment for reuse according to prescribed procedures. Administers respiratory care services to include all services as necessary to include all services offered by the department. Coordinates Respiratory Technicians to ensure proper utilization of staff; makes daily work assignments in a fair and equitable manner. Responsible for the quality of patient care delivered. Develops, recommends and implements new procedures, techniques and equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS


  • Current PA Licensed for Respiratory Care Practitioner or temporary practice permit required
  • Must be registered by the NBRC or registry eligible
  • One year respiratory therapy experience preferred
  • Healthcare Provider (CPR) certification within 6 months of start date in position
  • ACLS certification preferred
