Additional Details:

You must be able to complete labs within 48 hours of signing.

Required Skills/Experience:

  • NICU experience required; will work in a Level 3 NICU for this assignment.
  • Neonatal oscillating vent experience required; must be proficient.
  • Draeger vent experience required.
  • 2 years of critical care experience required.
  • Teaching hospital experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • Avea vent experience preferred.

Preferred Credentials:

  • RRT strongly preferred.

Special Requests:

  • All RTO is final and accurate; additional RTO requested after offer acceptance will not be approved.

Unit Details:

  • Neonate, infant, pediatric/adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient population.
  • Travelers may be asked to orient students or new hires if needed. -Free Parking Part of Yale New Haven Health System

Shift & Scheduling:

  • Every other weekend and holidays as needed.

Floating Requirements:

  • Will float between Bridgeport Hospital and Milford Campuses as needed.
  • Travelers should expect to rotate through all areas of the hospital, including the NICU and Pediatric units. The frequency of floating is dependent on census and staffing needs at the time, so while it may vary, the expectation is that staff are prepared to support all units as needed.
