Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments and develop individualized respiratory care plans
• Administer prescribed respiratory therapies and aerosolized medications while monitoring patient response
• Verify physician orders for completeness, including diagnosis, ICD-10 codes, duration, and FiO₂
• Initiate, monitor, and troubleshoot mechanical ventilators and life-support systems per approved protocols
• Perform airway management, tracheostomy care, and suctioning procedures
• Inspect, test, and maintain respiratory equipment and supplies
• Educate residents and caregivers on respiratory treatment plans and safety protocols
• Accurately document assessments, treatments, and patient response in the medical record
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and care planning to optimize resident outcomes

Qualifications

• Active Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license in New Hampshire
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) via National Board for Respiratory Care
• Minimum 1+ year of independent clinical practice experience (strict requirement)
• Current BCLS certification
• Strong ventilator management and critical respiratory care experience preferred
