Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital-wide respiratory therapy role covering ICU, ER, Med-Surg, and NICU, with day shift hours and a minimum of 2 years of experience required.

Details

• Hospital-wide respiratory therapy role serving ICU, ER, Med-Surg, NICU, and other units in a 330-bed facility
• Adult and neonatal patient populations
• Patient ratio of 1:30
• Equipment used includes Draeger ventilators, Hamilton ventilators, V60s, and High Flow devices
• EMR: Allscripts Sunrise
• Day shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent respiratory therapy experience, with active experience within the last 6 months
• CRT or RRT credential through the NBRC
• NH Respiratory Therapy license required if applicable
• Current ACLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• Current NRP certification required, as this role includes neonatal care
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• One professional reference required (two required if currently licensed in Florida or Missouri)
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Procedures performed include nebulizer treatments, mechanical ventilation, CPAP/BiPAP, and chest PT
• Strong multitasking ability and professional patient interaction skills are essential
• Mechanical skills are preferred
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates will not be considered
