Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including cocktails, beers, wines, and specialty drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
• Engage with guests in a friendly, energetic manner, providing personalized recommendations and answering questions about menu items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and sanitation standards at all times.
• Manage cash handling and POS transactions accurately using systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to ensure seamless billing processes.
• Monitor guest behavior to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with alcohol service regulations.
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and servers to coordinate food and beverage service during busy periods like nightclubs or banquet events.
• Restock bar supplies regularly, including garnishes, glassware, and beverages, to keep the bar fully equipped for service.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a bartender in a fast-paced restaurant or nightlife setting; fine dining or nightclub experience is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; basic math skills for cash handling and sales transactions are essential.
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service regulations.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and special events like banquets or catering functions.
