Restuarent General Manager
To oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, high food quality, profitability, and smooth coordination between kitchen, service, and management teams — with a strong focus on authentic cuisine.
Key Responsibilities:Operational Management
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations, ensuring efficient service and high guest satisfaction.
- Oversee kitchen and service teams to maintain consistent quality and presentation of cuisine.
- Plan and execute menu offerings in coordination with the Head Chef.
- Monitor inventory, purchasing, and cost control to achieve financial targets.
- Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and compliance with food safety standards.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, and supervise restaurant staff to maintain professional service standards.
- Create staff schedules and manage attendance, performance, and discipline.
- Motivate the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
Customer Service
- Maintain a welcoming environment and handle guest feedback effectively.
- Ensure prompt resolution of customer concerns and service recovery.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with regular customers.
Financial & Administrative
- Prepare and monitor budgets, sales reports, and performance KPIs.
- Manage cash handling, billing, and POS system operations.
- Implement strategies to improve sales and profitability.
Marketing & Promotion
- Collaborate with the marketing team for promotions, events, and digital campaigns.
- Develop loyalty programs and special offers to attract repeat customers.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in restaurant management,
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills.
- In-depth knowledge of restaurant operations, kitchen coordination, and service standards.
- Proficiency in English, Malayalam, and Hindi (spoken and written).
- Excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Strong understanding of customer service principles and guest satisfaction.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle fast-paced environments.
Education:
- Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality, or Business Administration.
Preferred Qualities:
- Experience working fine dining or multi-cuisine restaurants.
- Ability to manage multicultural staff.
- Hands-on approach with a passion for hospitality and guest engagement.
