Duties

• Greet guests promptly with a warm, genuine smile and positive attitude
• Manage reservations efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Coordinate seating arrangements to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing accurate information about wait times and reservations
• Assist guests with special requests and accommodate seating preferences whenever possible
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting area
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth flow of service during busy hours

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a host or hostess in a restaurant or food service environment preferred
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
• Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting
• Professional phone etiquette and guest relations skills
• Previous restaurant experience, including hotel or hospitality roles, is advantageous
