Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Restaurant Inventory Manager to oversee the store and inventory operations of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in managing restaurant inventory, be proficient in inventory management software and Excel, and possess excellent organizational and analytical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and manage all restaurant inventory, including food, beverage, packaging, and cleaning supplies
  • Maintain accurate records of incoming and outgoing inventory
  • Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies
  • Monitor stock levels and initiate timely procurement to avoid shortages or overstocking
  • Develop and implement efficient inventory control systems and procedures
  • Coordinate with kitchen and purchasing teams to forecast usage and plan inventory accordingly
  • Ensure proper storage, labeling, and rotation of inventory in line with health and safety standards (FIFO)
  • Generate daily, weekly, and monthly inventory reports and present findings to management
  • Identify slow-moving and obsolete stock and propose action plans
  • Maintain vendor records and support the procurement process by comparing prices and negotiating terms
  • Ensure that all inventory management software systems are updated and used effectively
  • Train and supervise storekeeping staff if applicable

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as an Inventory Manager or Storekeeper in a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong proficiency in inventory management software (e.g., MarketMan, PeachWorks, Orcavue, or similar)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
  • Familiarity with food safety and hygiene regulations
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams
  • Flexible schedule and ability to handle high-pressure situations

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Diploma or degree in Hospitality Management, Supply Chain, or a related field
  • Knowledge of restaurant operations and menu costing
  • Experience in managing perishable goods and inventory audits

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs30,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
