Restaurant Manager

Bkry, the innovative bakery brand from the creators of Behind the Cup, is expanding to Cairo! We are building a dynamic and talented team to launch and lead our new location. We are seeking experienced, passionate, and hands-on professionals willing to relocate and grow with us in Egypt.

1. Restaurant Manager

• Role: Oversee all daily operations of the restaurant, including FOH staff management, customer service excellence, sales targets, inventory, and financial controls. Ensure the brand's standards are met and exceeded.
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in a high-volume café, bakery, or restaurant.
• Strong leadership, financial acumen, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
• Immediate joining is a significant advantage.

2. Head Chef - Hot Kitchen

• Role: Lead the savory kitchen team. Develop and execute the menu for all-day dining, including breakfast, lunch, and dinner items, ensuring the highest quality, consistency, and speed of service.
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Head Chef or Sous Chef, specifically in hot kitchen operations.
• Strong knowledge of international cuisine, food safety standards, and kitchen management.
• Creative and able to innovate while maintaining cost controls.
• Immediate joining is a significant advantage.

3. Head Pastry Chef

• Role: Lead the entire pastry and bakery section. Responsible for the creation, production, and presentation of all baked goods, desserts, viennoiserie, and confectionery items that define the Bkry brand.
• Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Head Pastry Chef or Senior Baker in a premium bakery or hotel.
• Expertise in a wide range of baking techniques, from artisan breads to intricate desserts.
• A creative flair and a passion for developing new and exciting products.
• Immediate joining is a significant advantage.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Salary: USD $1,200 - $1,400 per month
• Accommodation: Provided by the company
• Visa & Benefits: Full visa sponsorship and benefits as per Egyptian labor law.
• Relocation: Flight ticket to Cairo provided at the start of the contract.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• You have experience in GCC, India, or Asia (Home country)
• You are ready and willing to relocate to Cairo, Egypt.
• You have a proven track record in your respective field.
• You are a team leader, hands-on, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment.
• You are available to join at short notice (immediate joiners preferred).
