Restaurant Manager – Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager with a strong Food & Beverage (F&B) background and a proven track record of success. The ideal candidate will combine operational excellence, leadership skills, and creativity to deliver a premium guest experience while driving sales and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Staff Management & Training

Recruit, train, and motivate staff to maintain high service standards.

Build a positive, professional, and disciplined team culture.

  • Operational Excellence

Ensure daily operations run smoothly with top-quality service.

Maintain brand standards across all customer touchpoints.

  • Food Knowledge & Safety

In-depth understanding of food ingredients, menu items, and shisha offerings.

Ensure compliance with health, hygiene, and food safety regulations.

  • Sales & Target Achievement

Drive revenue growth and meet sales targets.

Train staff in upselling and maximizing per-head spend.

  • Marketing & Creative Collaboration

Work closely with the marketing team to design promotions, events, and unique dining experiences.

Contribute creative ideas to differentiate the restaurant in the market.

  • Financial Management

Manage budgets, cost control, and forecasting.

Oversee P&L, purchasing, inventory, and waste reduction.

  • Customer Relationship Management

Handle guest feedback, resolve complaints, and maintain strong customer loyalty.

Deliver VIP-level hospitality to high-value clients.

  • Technology & Systems

Operate POS, reservations, and inventory management systems.

Use reports and analytics to improve performance and efficiency.

  • Leadership & Motivation

Lead by example, ensuring professionalism at all times.

Manage conflicts, inspire staff, and reduce turnover.

  • Time & Crisis Management

Effectively handle peak periods, emergencies, or unexpected challenges.

Market Awareness

  • Event & Experience Management

Organize and execute special events, promotions, and themed experiences.

  • Professional Communication

Smart, well-spoken, and fluent in English (additional languages are a plus).

Represent the restaurant with confidence and professionalism.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in F&B or hospitality management.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Excellent understanding of restaurant operations, food safety, and service standards.
  • Financial acumen with proven ability to manage costs and drive sales.
  • Tech-savvy with knowledge of POS and reporting systems.
  • Creative, guest-focused, and passionate about hospitality.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED8,000.00 - AED14,000.00 per month
