The Restaurant Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of Froot Coffee, ensuring that all aspects of the restaurant run smoothly and efficiently. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the food service industry, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Management: Oversee the daily operations of the restaurant, including food preparation, customer service, cleanliness, and inventory management.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and manage restaurant staff, fostering a positive work environment and ensuring high levels of staff morale and performance.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure exceptional customer service by addressing customer complaints and ensuring a positive dining experience for all guests.
- Financial Management: Monitor the restaurant's financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and managing costs to maximize profitability.
- Health and Safety Compliance: Ensure the restaurant adheres to all health and safety regulations, maintaining a clean and safe environment for both staff and customers.
- Inventory and Supply Management: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure that all ingredients are fresh and available.
- Menu Development: Collaborate with the culinary team to develop and update the menu, ensuring it remains innovative and aligned with customer preferences.
- Marketing and Promotion: Work with the marketing team to plan and execute promotional events and campaigns to attract new customers and retain existing ones.
- Quality Control: Maintain high standards of food quality and presentation, ensuring consistency in every dish served.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on the restaurant’s performance, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar managerial role within the food service industry.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Excellent understanding of restaurant operations and financial management.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle complaints and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Familiarity with restaurant management software (e.g., POS systems) is a plus.
- Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
