Restaurant Manager (Arabic Restaurant)

Job Purpose:
To manage and oversee the daily operations of the Arabic restaurant, ensuring excellent customer service, high food quality standards, effective staff management, cost control, and achievement of sales and profitability targets.
Key Responsibilities:Operations Management
- Oversee day-to-day restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service.
- Ensure compliance with company standards, food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness regulations.
- Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to ensure timely and quality food delivery.
- Handle customer feedback and complaints professionally and promptly.
Staff Management
- Recruit, train, supervise, and motivate restaurant staff.
- Prepare duty rosters, manage attendance, and ensure proper staffing levels.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide coaching and disciplinary actions when required.
- Promote teamwork and maintain a positive working environment.
Customer Service
- Ensure a high level of guest satisfaction and authentic Arabic dining experience.
- Build strong relationships with regular and VIP customers.
- Maintain service standards in line with brand and hospitality expectations.
Sales & Financial Control
- Achieve sales targets and improve restaurant profitability.
- Monitor food cost, labor cost, waste, and inventory levels.
- Oversee ordering, stock control, and supplier coordination.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational and financial reports.
Compliance & Coordination
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, health and safety regulations.
- Implement company policies, procedures, and SOPs.
- Coordinate with support departments such as HR, Finance, and Maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field (preferred).
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager.
- Strong knowledge of Arabic cuisine and restaurant operations.
- Experience with POS systems and reporting tools.
- Fluent in Arabic; English proficiency is an advantage.
