Role Overview
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall management of a casual dining restaurant, ensuring smooth daily operations, excellent customer service, team leadership, and achievement of sales and profitability targets while maintaining company standards.
Key Responsibilities
Operations Management
- Manage day-to-day restaurant operations and ensure smooth service delivery
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, food safety, hygiene, and quality standards
- Monitor inventory, ordering, and cost control
Team Management
- Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise restaurant staff
- Maintain discipline, motivation, and high performance levels
- Conduct staff evaluations and implement corrective actions when required
Customer Experience
- Ensure high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction
- Handle customer complaints and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain restaurant ambiance and service quality
Sales & Reporting
- Achieve sales targets and control operational costs
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports
- Implement promotions and upselling strategies
Candidate Requirements
- Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager in Casual Dining
- Strong knowledge of restaurant operations, food safety, and people management
- Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
