We are currently hiring for the restaurant manager role for our Casual dining restaurant in Dubai.
Job Purpose:
The Restaurant Manager is responsible for the overall management of a casual dining restaurant, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations across front and back of the house, delivering excellent guest experience, achieving sales targets, controlling costs, and maintaining high standards of food quality, service, hygiene, and team performance.
Key Responsibilities (FOH & BOH)
- Oversee daily restaurant operations including service, kitchen coordination, and guest handling.
- Ensure smooth coordination between front of house and kitchen teams for efficient service flow.
- Monitor food quality, presentation, portion control, and service standards.
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and escalations professionally to ensure guest satisfaction.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, brand standards, and operational policies.
Team Management & Staffing
- Recruit, train, schedule, and manage FOH and BOH staff.
- Conduct daily briefings and ensure staff are well-groomed and service-ready.
- Motivate, coach, and develop team members to improve performance.
- Conduct performance evaluations and implement corrective actions when required.
- Ensure discipline, attendance, and adherence to company policies.
Sales, Cost Control & Reporting
- Drive sales through upselling, promotions, and excellent guest engagement.
- Monitor and control food cost, labor cost, and operational expenses.
- Manage inventory, ordering, stock rotation, and wastage control.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports (sales, cost, manpower, incidents).
- Analyze performance and implement action plans to meet business targets.
Financial & Administrative Control
- Ensure accurate cash handling, POS usage, and daily cash reconciliation.
- Control discounts, voids, and complimentary items as per authorization matrix.
- Coordinate with HO for payroll, procurement, and compliance requirements.
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensure strict adherence to food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of the restaurant at all times.
- Ensure compliance with local municipality, food authority, and labor regulations.
- Conduct regular audits and follow up on corrective actions.
Customer Experience & Brand Standards
- Ensure consistent delivery of brand experience as per casual dining concept.
- Maintain restaurant ambiance, cleanliness, and overall presentation.
- Implement company promotions, menu launches, and marketing initiatives effectively.
Key Skills & Competencies

Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager in a casual dining concept
- Hands-on experience managing both service and kitchen operations
- Knowledge of POS systems and inventory management
