Role Overview

Scaleup Connect is hiring Restaurant Server on behalf of its client for a hotel-based role in Bahria Town Phase 4, Islamabad/Rawalpindi. The selected candidates will be responsible for delivering exceptional guest service, ensuring accurate order management, and maintaining high hospitality standards in a fast-paced dining environment. The role requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and effective coordination with kitchen and service teams to ensure a seamless guest experience.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service Excellence

• Welcome guests warmly and ensure a positive dining experience from arrival to departure.
• Present menus and provide detailed information regarding dishes, beverages, ingredients, and potential allergens.
• Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests or concerns.

Order Management

• Accurately take food and beverage orders.
• Relay orders efficiently to the kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely preparation and delivery.
• Monitor tables to ensure guests receive orders correctly and promptly.

Table Management

• Set up tables with appropriate tableware and maintain organized dining areas.
• Clear and sanitize tables after each guest to maintain hygiene standards.
• Ensure dining areas remain clean, well-organized, and welcoming at all times.

Menu Knowledge

• Maintain comprehensive knowledge of menu items, daily specials, ingredients, and recommended pairings.
• Provide suggestions and recommendations to enhance the guest dining experience.

Billing & Payments

• Process payments accurately using approved payment methods such as cash, credit cards, or room charge systems.
• Follow standard procedures for billing and transaction recording.

Team Collaboration

• Coordinate effectively with kitchen staff and fellow service team members to maintain smooth operations.
• Support colleagues during peak hours to ensure efficient service delivery.

Tools / Systems

• POS / Payment Processing Systems
• Credit Card Processing Tools
• Hotel Billing / Room Charge Systems

Education

• Matric or Intermediate qualification

Experience

• Experience: 1–6 months
• Preferred Background: Hospitality / Hotel Industry
