Restaurant Service Steward - Cleaner (Fine Dining Experienced)

Postion: Restaurant Service Steward

Starting Salary: SAR 1,500 + F.A.T.

Location: Riyadh

Position Overview: We are seeking dedicated Stewards to maintain impeccable cleanliness and operational support at our distinguished luxury café in Riyadh. This foundational role is essential to upholding the pristine environment and behind-the-scenes excellence that enables exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness throughout all back-of-house areas, service stations, and public spaces, ensuring the venue consistently reflects the luxury environment guests expect.
• Wash, sanitize, and polish all serviceware including glassware, china, cutlery, and serving equipment to immaculate standards, ensuring items are spotless, damage-free, and ready for immediate use.
• Clean and sanitize all equipment, work surfaces, floors, and storage areas according to established procedures and health regulations, maintaining organized, hygienic conditions at all times.
• Provide essential support to the service team by ensuring continuous availability of clean serviceware, linens, and equipment during service periods, responding promptly to urgent requests.
• Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations, dining areas, and equipment before and after service, ensuring all elements are properly prepared and maintained.
• Handle the collection, sorting, and proper disposal of waste materials according to hygiene and environmental standards, maintaining cleanliness in waste management areas.
• Monitor and maintain stock levels of cleaning supplies, chemicals, and consumables, informing supervisors of replenishment needs to prevent shortages during operations.
• Handle all serviceware and equipment with care to prevent breakage and damage, reporting any broken or damaged items immediately and following proper procedures for disposal or repair.
• Organize and maintain storage areas systematically, ensuring proper placement of clean items, rotation of stock, and easy accessibility for service team members during busy periods.
• Work cooperatively with all front-of-house and back-of-house team members, responding professionally to requests and maintaining a positive, supportive presence that contributes to smooth operations.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in stewarding or housekeeping roles preferred, ideally within hospitality, food service, or premium establishments where cleanliness and attention to detail are emphasized.
• Basic English comprehension for understanding instructions and safety protocols; additional language skills are beneficial for team communication in Riyadh's diverse hospitality environment.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and pride in maintaining high standards essential. Must be physically fit for standing, lifting, and repetitive tasks, and able to work efficiently in fast-paced conditions while maintaining quality and safety.

Pay: ﷼1,500.00 per month
