Restaurant - Shift Supervisor

As a Shift Supervisor / Team Leader you will be at the heart of creating exceptional customer experiences and maintaining the highest operational standards. Your role is to lead and inspire your team, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere, impeccable service, and top-quality products. You’ll manage all aspects of store operations while championing the brand's mission to delight every customer.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Satisfaction & Experience

  • Ensure every customer enjoys an outstanding dining experience through exceptional service and product quality.
  • Foster a welcoming, friendly environment that prioritizes customer engagement and satisfaction.
  • Address customer feedback and complaints promptly and professionally, turning challenges into opportunities.
  • Implement and promote initiatives to enhance customer loyalty and brand experience.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily store operations, ensuring adherence to company standards in cleanliness, organization, and safety.
  • Monitor food preparation processes to maintain quality and consistency in every product served.
  • Manage inventory levels, stock rotation, and supply orders to avoid shortages or waste.
  • Conduct regular store audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and hygiene regulations.

Team Leadership & Development

  • Recruit, train, and motivate a high-performing team passionate about delivering exceptional service.
  • Set clear expectations, delegate tasks effectively, and monitor team performance.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating excellent customer service, problem-solving, and operational skills.
  • Provide coaching and development opportunities to help team members reach their full potential.

Financial Performance

  • Achieve store sales targets and profitability goals through effective cost management and upselling techniques.
  • Oversee cash handling, daily reconciliations, and adherence to financial protocols.
  • Monitor labor costs and adjust schedules to ensure operational efficiency.

Qualifications and Skills

  • Experience: Minimum 3 years in a supervisory or managerial role in the food & beverage or hospitality industry.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in hospitality, business management, or a related field is preferred.
  • Exceptional leadership and team-building skills.
  • Strong focus on customer service and creating memorable experiences.
  • Proficiency in managing store operations, including inventory, staffing, and financial tasks.
  • Knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
