Restaurant Steward / Cleaner (Cafe in Riyadh)

Job Title: Restaurant Service Steward

Place of Work: Laysen Valley, Umm Al Hamam, Riyadh

Job Summary: The Restaurant Service Steward is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and sanitation of the dining area, service stations, and back-of-house areas, ensuring a safe and hygienic environment for guests and staff. This role also provides essential support to the service team, facilitating smooth and efficient service delivery.

Responsibilities:

Dining Area Maintenance:

• Clean and sanitize tables, chairs, booths, and floors promptly after guest departure.
• Reset tables with appropriate linens, cutlery, glassware, and condiments according to restaurant standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of service stations, including condiment containers, salt/pepper shakers, and menus.
• Ensure the dining area is free of debris and spills.

Back-of-House Cleaning:

• Clean and sanitize dishwashing areas, bussing stations, and storage areas.
• Dispose of trash and recyclables properly.
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and ensure they are stocked with necessary supplies.

Service Team Assistance:

• Assist service staff with bussing tables and clearing dishes.
• Refill water glasses and beverage stations as needed.
• Assist with the setup and breakdown of service areas.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Assist in the cleaning of spills that may occur.

Inventory and Supplies:

• Monitor and replenish cleaning supplies and notify management when supplies are low.
• Ensure proper storage of cleaning equipment.
• Adherence to Standards:
• Comply with all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
• Adhere to restaurant policies and procedures.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ﷼1,500.00 per month
