A. Existing Store Operations

  • Performance Analysis:

Coordinate with respective Store Sales Managers to analyze store performance, track KPIs (footfall, conversion rate, sales growth, etc.), and implement corrective actions for improvement.

  • Mall & Property Coordination:

Liaise with mall management, property owners, and local authorities to ensure smooth operations, compliance, and timely execution of promotional activities and brand visibility campaigns.

  • Warehouse & Logistics Coordination:

Collaborate with the warehouse and logistics teams to ensure smooth stock replenishment, timely dispatches, and proper inventory management at stores.

  • Accounts Coordination:

Work closely with the Accounts team for reconciliation of store sales, vendor payments, rent settlements, and expense tracking.

  • Store Visits & Audits:

Conduct regular store visits PAN India to assess performance, boost sales morale, monitor visual merchandising, and maintain brand standards.

  • Market Intelligence:

Keep a close watch on retail market trends, competitor activities, and discount structures to recommend strategies that maximize sales and maintain competitive positioning.

  • Product & Pricing Strategy Support:

Provide insights to the product and merchandising teams based on customer feedback, regional preferences, and sales data to optimize assortments and pricing.

  • Team Motivation & Support:

Engage regularly with in-store teams to foster motivation, ensure training support, and maintain high operational efficiency.

  • Customer Experience Enhancement:

Ensure all stores deliver superior customer service and consistent brand experience across locations.

  • Reporting & Analysis:

Prepare periodic reports on store performance, promotional outcomes, and operational challenges for management review.

B. New Store Development & Franchise Expansion

  • Market Research & Opportunity Identification:

Identify and evaluate new market opportunities for company-owned and franchise stores through demographic studies, catchment analysis, and competitor mapping.

  • Franchise Development:

Understand franchise requirements, pitch brand potential, and close franchise deals by ensuring mutually beneficial terms and strong partner alignment.

  • Site Evaluation & Feasibility:

Assess potential store locations based on footfall potential, commercial viability, and brand fit. Coordinate with legal and property teams for documentation and approvals.

  • Project Coordination:

Oversee store setup from concept to launch — including layout planning, vendor coordination, branding, and operational readiness.

  • Launch Planning & Execution:

Plan and execute store launch activities, promotional campaigns, and local marketing to drive initial footfall and awareness.

  • Franchise Relationship Management:

Maintain healthy relations with franchise partners through regular communication, training, and operational support.

  • Post-Launch Performance Monitoring:

Track the performance of newly opened stores and franchises, ensuring adherence to brand standards and operational excellence.

  • Documentation & Compliance:

Ensure all franchise agreements, lease documents, and licenses are up to date and in compliance with company policy.

C. Desired Competencies

  • Strong understanding of retail operations, business development, and franchise management.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales and market data.
  • Ability to travel extensively across India for store visits and expansion activities.
  • Good coordination and interpersonal skills to manage cross-functional teams.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month

Experience:

  • Retail management: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Retail sales: 3 years (Preferred)
  • Team management: 2 years (Preferred)

Willingness to travel:

  • 50% (Preferred)
