Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Retail IT Manager to oversee the day-to-day IT operations across our retail locations. This role involves managing technology systems that support in-store operations, POS systems, inventory systems, and digital integrations, while ensuring data security and uptime across all locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management within a retail environment, excellent leadership skills, and a proactive approach to technology solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the implementation, maintenance, and support of retail IT systems, including:
  • Point-of-Sale (POS) systems
  • Inventory management systems
  • Network infrastructure
  • In-store digital signage and kiosks
  • Mobile devices and tablets used in-store
  • Act as the primary liaison between IT and store operations, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Manage IT support for retail staff, providing timely resolution to technical issues.
  • Lead the rollout of new technology and software upgrades across stores.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers for hardware, software, and network services.
  • Monitor and ensure the security of IT systems and compliance with data protection regulations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation for IT procedures, store onboarding, and troubleshooting guides.
  • Provide training to store staff on IT systems and security best practices.
  • Track and manage IT budgets related to retail operations.
  • Ensure business continuity and disaster recovery plans are in place and tested.

Qualifications:

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 5+ years of IT experience, with at least 2+ years in a retail environment.
  • Prior experience managing retail systems (POS, inventory, CRM, etc.)

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong technical knowledge of retail technologies (POS, networking, handheld devices, cloud platforms).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong leadership and project management abilities.
  • Familiarity with ITIL processes and service desk management.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and adapt quickly to change.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with retail ERP systems (e.g., Oracle Retail, Microsoft Dynamics, SAP).
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity principles and compliance (PCI-DSS, GDPR, etc.).
  • IT certifications such as CompTIA Network+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED6,000.00 - AED10,000.00 per month
