We are partnering with a globally recognised luxury retail organisation to appoint a Retail Performance Manager based in Dubai. This is a highly strategic position focused on strengthening commercial performance across a network of boutiques through data-led analysis, cross-functional collaboration, and the implementation of performance-enhancing initiatives.
This role operates at the intersection of retail, strategy, and business intelligence. It is designed for an individual who can interpret complex retail performance indicators, identify opportunities for growth, and influence key stakeholders to drive measurable commercial improvement across the region.
This is not a store operations or team management role. Instead, it is a standalone function responsible for enhancing retail effectiveness through insight, structure, and strategic coordination.
Core Purpose of the RoleThe Retail Performance Manager will act as a central performance partner to the regional retail organisation, providing clarity, visibility, and actionable insight into boutique performance. The position plays a key role in supporting leadership decision-making by translating retail data into strategic recommendations and ensuring alignment between regional execution and broader organisational priorities.
The successful candidate will contribute to strengthening performance consistency, identifying areas of opportunity, and supporting the execution of initiatives designed to optimise sales productivity, client engagement, and operational effectiveness.
Key ResponsibilitiesRetail Performance Analysis and Commercial Insight
Monitor and evaluate boutique performance across key commercial indicators including sales trends, productivity metrics, conversion, and client behaviour.
Identify performance gaps, emerging trends, and growth opportunities, providing structured recommendations to retail leadership.
Develop and maintain performance tracking tools, dashboards, and reporting frameworks to improve visibility and decision-making.
Support the identification of both short-term performance opportunities and longer-term strategic priorities.
Strategic Planning and Performance Improvement InitiativesPartner with retail leadership to develop targeted action plans aimed at improving boutique performance and operational efficiency.
Contribute to the rollout and implementation of retail performance initiatives, tools, and operational frameworks.
Support continuous improvement initiatives designed to enhance retail productivity, consistency, and client experience.
Monitor the effectiveness of initiatives and provide ongoing performance evaluation and recommendations.
Executive Reporting and Business ReviewsPrepare structured performance reports, presentations, and business summaries for regional leadership and senior stakeholders.
Support periodic business reviews by providing clear, concise, and commercially relevant performance analysis.
Contribute to executive-level discussions by providing insight into performance drivers, risks, and opportunities.
Ensure performance narratives are supported by accurate and meaningful data interpretation.
Cross-Functional CollaborationWork closely with retail leadership, merchandising, finance, and other relevant functions to ensure alignment on performance priorities.
Act as a central coordination point for retail performance initiatives requiring cross-functional collaboration.
Support communication and alignment between retail teams and regional leadership through structured reporting and analysis.
Candidate ProfileThe ideal candidate will bring strong analytical capability combined with a commercial understanding of retail environments. They will be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and influencing stakeholders through insight and structured thinking.
Candidates should demonstrate experience in retail performance analysis, business planning, commercial strategy, or related analytical functions within retail, luxury, or consumer-driven sectors.
Experience and QualificationsBachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, retail management, or a related discipline.
Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in retail performance, business analysis, commercial planning, strategy, or consulting environments.
Strong analytical capability with the ability to interpret data and translate it into actionable recommendations.
Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience working with retail performance metrics and reporting tools.
Ability to prepare structured presentations and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Commercial awareness and a strong interest in retail performance and optimisation.
Fluent English is essential. Additional languages are advantageous.
