Revit Designer

Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Revit Designer to join our industry leading design team within the foodservice industry. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Building Information Modeling (BIM) software, particularly Revit, to develop precise and comprehensive foodservice design models. Your energetic approach will help drive project success from conceptual design through construction documentation, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and high-quality deliverables. Responsibilities

• Create detailed 3D models and construction documents using Revit, ensuring adherence to project specifications and standards
• Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and project managers to develop coordinated design solutions
• Integrate data from various CAD and BIM tools and industry standard catalog software.
• Utilize additional software like Bluebeam, MS Teams and Zoom to collaborate with in house team and design partners.
• Develop schematic designs, interior layouts, mechanical, electrical and plumbing plans.
• Conduct clash detection and model coordination to identify potential conflicts early in the design process
• Maintain organized project files, update models regularly, and ensure compliance with industry standards for drafting and documentation

Requirements

• Proven experience with Revit.
• Strong proficiency in CAD-based software including AutoCAD
• Knowledge of schematic development, drafting techniques, design principles, and construction practices
• Ability to interpret technical drawings such as schematics, product cut sheets and specifications accurately
• Relevent experience in trades; foodservice experience a +, foodservice design experience ++
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced environment

Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
