Overview:
This role reports functionally into Revenue Manager and serves as key RGM business partner for Foods business. This position drives consumer penetration and category profit pool growth, by executing optimized pack-price architectures, driving product mix plans across brands and regions, and managing trade spend effectively. RGM analyst is responsible for developing strengthened RGM capability and governance to ensure that Revenue Management becomes an embedded way of doing business across all regions.
Responsibilities:
1) Drive net revenue realization through sustainable portfolio pricing, maximizing product mix & optimal trade spend plans at customer/channel level. This includes partnering closely with Sales, Marketing, Finance to align stakeholders, set annual and periodic targets, establish robust processes, performance guidelines and drive the agenda.
2) AOP and Forecasts: Collaborate with Sales and Finance team to plan and deliver monthly RGM initiatives for AOP and forecasts. This involves developing strategic insights for plan preparation, alignment with stakeholders and routine tracking to enable the business delivery on financial objectives across key metrics of volume, revenue, and profitability.
3) Revenue Management Governance: Support Revenue Manager in preparing decks and number crunching for monthly RGM council with BU Leadership team.
4) Lead monthly RGM council with Sales, Planning, and Marketing teams for regular monitoring of NRM initiatives, share insights into performance vs. plan and prior year, project performance, develop and align any strategic RGM recommendations for balance of year.
5) Performance tracking: Ensure accurate, timely and insightful tracking of periodic RGM performance versus plan, forecast and prior year to BU and sector. Timely highlight any expected performance gap, align, and drive interventions to enable the business to deliver planned targets.
6) Prepare initiatives Business Proposal & lead the BOM process
7) Develop and use elasticity Tools/ New RGM handbooks to get better insights for optimization
8) Process/Systems development: Develop and integrate business processes and reporting systems to utilize SAP and business intelligence tools that provide insights, information and equips the business to take timely, informed decisions to drive efficiencies and deliver financial targets.
Qualifications:
Qualifications: Key degree in Accounting/Business Administration –CA/ ACCA/MBA Finance
Certifications:
Skills: Strong working knowledge of the methodologies and tools adopted for revenue management. Financial and Management Reporting Business Fundamentals
Experience: 7+ years of experience in finance and/or commercial preferably within FMCG.
