Road Design Engineer

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Road Design Engineer with 5–10 years of experience to join our dynamic team.

Role Summary:
As a Road Design Engineer, you will play a key role in the planning, design, and implementation of roadway and transportation infrastructure projects. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative designs that meet client needs and adhere to industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development:
• Lead the design of roadways, including horizontal and vertical alignments, intersections, and cross-sections.
• Prepare detailed engineering drawings, models, and specifications using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
• Analysis & Optimization:
• Conduct technical analyses, including traffic flow, capacity, and safety assessments.
• Optimize designs to balance functionality, cost-effectiveness, and sustainability.
• Collaboration:
• Work closely with project managers, surveyors, geotechnical engineers, and other team members.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and regulatory agencies to ensure design alignment with project requirements and regulations.
• Quality Assurance & Compliance:
• Ensure all designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and environmental guidelines.
• Perform quality checks and reviews to maintain accuracy and consistency in deliverables.
• Project Support:
• Assist with preparing project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
• Provide technical support during the construction phase to resolve design-related issues.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
• Experience: 5–10 years of experience in roadway and transportation design projects.
• Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in CAD and road design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D, MicroStation).
• Strong understanding of road design principles, including geometric design, drainage, and pavement design.
• Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
• Detail-oriented with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
