Highway Design Engineer

DRAWLINES ENGINEERING CONSULTANT is looking for Highway Design Engineer in Doha-Qatar

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (Mandatory)
• Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in highway/road design
• Valid MMUP/UPDA Certification (Mandatory)
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or equivalent Professional Engineering Certification (Mandatory)
• Strong proficiency in road design software such as Civil 3D, MX Road, OpenRoads, or similar
• In-depth knowledge of highway design standards and specifications
• Strong leadership, communication, and project coordination skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the design and development of major highway and roadway projects.
• Review and approve design documents, drawings, and calculations.
• Coordinate with internal design teams and external stakeholders including clients and regulatory authorities.
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and CAD staff.
• Conduct technical reviews and participate in project meetings.
• Provide technical input during project planning, tendering, and construction stages.
• Conduct site inspections and provide design support during construction as required.
