SUMMARY

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Room Attendant to join our housekeeping team. In this role, you will play a critical part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, presentation, hygiene, and luxury in guest rooms, suites, and villas. Your meticulous attention to detail, discretion, and commitment to flawless execution will help create memorable stays for our discerning international guests.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean and prepare assigned guest rooms, suites, and villas to the hotel’s luxury standards and brand-specific SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures), ensuring every room is immaculate and welcoming for arrival.

  • Make beds to five-star presentation standards, using high-thread-count linens and achieving perfect turndown service when required.

  • Thoroughly clean bathrooms, including polishing mirrors, chrome fixtures, marble surfaces, glass showers, and bathtubs to a spotless, streak-free finish.

  • Dust, polish, and sanitize all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and fittings (including delicate décor, artwork, lighting, and luxury amenities).

  • Vacuum carpets, clean hard floors, and perform deep cleaning as scheduled.

  • Replenish all guest amenities, mini-bar items, coffee/tea facilities, bathrobes, slippers, and other luxury touches according to the established par stock and brand guidelines.

  • Inspect rooms for maintenance issues, damages, or lost items, report findings promptly and accurately to supervisors.

  • Handle guest belongings with the utmost care, privacy, and discretion; follow strict lost-and-found procedures.

  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest requests delivered in-room or via housekeeping channels.

  • Maintain housekeeping carts and floor pantries in an organized, fully stocked, and presentable condition.

  • Practice safe work habits, follow all health, safety, and hygiene regulations, and use cleaning chemicals correctly.

  • Assist with deep cleaning projects, VIP arrivals, special set-ups, and other housekeeping duties as assigned.

  • Contribute to achieving 100% guest satisfaction scores and maintaining the hotel’s luxury brand reputation.

BACKGROUND

  • Previous experience as a Room Attendant, Housekeeper, or similar role in a four- or five-star hotel, luxury resort, or upscale serviced residence (minimum 1–2 years preferred).

  • Demonstrated understanding of luxury housekeeping standards and attention to fine details.

  • Ability to work efficiently, meet strict productivity targets, and maintain quality under time pressure.

  • High level of personal grooming, presentation, and professionalism at all times.

  • Physically fit and able to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, bending, pushing heavy carts, and standing for extended periods.

  • Flexible availability for rotational shifts, including early starts, late finishes, weekends, and holidays.

  • Positive attitude, team spirit, and genuine passion for delivering exceptional service.
