Job Description:
Content Creation & Development:
- Research, write, and edit engaging, informative, and technically accurate content for a variety of platforms, including:
- Blog posts and articles
- SaaS based products and services content
- Website copy and landing pages
- Whitepapers, eBooks, and case studies
- User guides, tutorials, and technical documentation
- Email newsletters and marketing collateral
- Social media content
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, sales teams, and subject matter experts (SMEs) to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content.
- Simplify complex software concepts and features into clear, concise, and user-friendly language for diverse audiences (e.g.,project management, EHR and EMR, CRM).
SEO Optimization:
- Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-value search terms and opportunities within the software industry.
- Implement on-page SEO best practices, including optimizing meta titles, meta descriptions, headings, image alt text, and internal linking strategies to improve search engine rankings and organic visibility.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, search engine algorithms, and content marketing best practices specific to the tech sector.
- Technical Content Focus:
- Translate technical specifications, product functionalities, and complex workflows into easy-to-understand documentation and marketing materials.
- Ensure content is structured logically and adheres to technical writing standards for clarity and usability.
- Develop content that addresses common pain points and provides solutions relevant to software users and IT decision-makers.
Content Strategy & Performance:
- Contribute to the development and refinement of our content strategy, aligning content initiatives with business goals and target audience needs.
- Monitor content performance using analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and make data-driven recommendations for optimization and improvement.
- Maintain consistency in brand voice, tone, and style across all content.
Collaboration & Project Management:
- Work effectively within a dynamic marketing team, managing multiple projects simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate new content ideas and explore innovative content formats.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing (MBA), or a related field.
- 1–2 years of proven experience as a Content Writer, Technical Writer, or a similar role—preferably in the software or technology industry.
- A strong writing portfolio showcasing high-quality, SEO-optimized, and technical content.
- In-depth knowledge of SEO principles, including hands-on experience with keyword research and on-page optimization.
- Ability to simplify and communicate complex technical concepts clearly and engagingly.
- Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with strong attention to grammar and detail.
- Familiarity with Content Management Systems (CMS) such as WordPress.
- Strong research abilities to source accurate information from subject matter experts, product documentation, and industry resources.
- Capable of working independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
