Primary Job Functions
Complete in-situ and in workshop saddlery and upholstery repairs that require specialist care and product
use.
Construction of new leather or fabric items and cushioning as per technical and engineering drawings using
aviation approved products and techniques.
Complete in-situ and in workshop leather and fabric detailing and other cleaning that may need specialist care
and product use.
Complete in-situ and in workshop repair of stains, scratches, tears, cuts, holes and cigarette burns or other
small defects in leather and fabric surfaces.
Perform incoming, progressive ongoing and post repair inspection of components.
Assist with the design and engineering approval of innovative solutions to non-standard customer requests.
Manage a team of assigned Technical Workers.
Communicate with the customer when necessary and follow up on all customer requests.
Following the company training programs and procedures including progressive completion of work package
paperwork records. .
Secondary Job Functions
Working as a Technical Worker on cabinetry or other components as directed by the Workshop Manager.
Driving, delivering, loading, unloading or any other support activities for any other company department as
directed by the Production Manager in the absence of Primary Function activities
Required Qualification & Education
A Saddlery and Upholstery qualification from a Nationally approved training vendor with 18 months
documented experience.
English Proficiency (Speak – Understand – Read – Write).
Effective interpersonal and written communication skills.
Able to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualification & Education
2 years documented experience in FAA, EASA or GCAA Part/CAR 145 / 21G type organization(s)
United Arab Emirates Light Vehicle Drivers Licence or International equivalent
