Position Overview

The Safari Tour Coordinator is responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing safari tour operations to ensure guests receive a safe, seamless, and memorable desert safari experience. This role requires strong coordination skills, local tourism knowledge, and the ability to manage logistics, guides, and guest services in a fast-paced outdoor tourism environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily safari tour schedules, including pick-ups, drop-offs, and desert excursion timings
• Communicate with drivers, tour guides, and operations staff to ensure smooth execution of tours
• Handle guest bookings, confirmations, and special requests in a timely and professional manner
• Ensure all safari vehicles are prepared, inspected, and compliant with safety standards before tours
• Monitor weather and desert conditions and adjust schedules when necessary for safety
• Provide pre-tour briefings and ensure guests understand safety guidelines and itinerary details
• Resolve guest issues or complaints promptly to maintain high customer satisfaction
• Maintain accurate records of bookings, tour operations, and feedback reports
• Coordinate with marketing and sales teams to support tour promotions and group bookings

Requirements

• Previous experience in tourism, travel coordination, or hospitality (safari or desert tour experience preferred)
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent communication skills in English (additional languages are an advantage)
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Familiarity with Qatar’s desert regions and tourism regulations is a plus
• Customer-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
• Valid driving license is an advantage but not mandatory
