Safety Engineer/OSH Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health (OSH) regulations, company safety policies, and client requirements.

Conduct regular site inspections, risk assessments, and audits to identify hazards and implement preventive measures.

Deliver safety training sessions, toolbox talks, and awareness programs.

Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports with corrective and preventive actions.

Maintain safety documentation, permits, and records in line with legal and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with project managers, supervisors, and employees to ensure safe work practices.

Lead emergency preparedness drills and implement response plans.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field.

Minimum 2 years of relevant experience

Certification(s) such as NEBOSH IGC / OSHA / IOSH or equivalent is mandatory.

Strong knowledge of UAE labour laws, HSE regulations, and international safety standards.

Excellent communication, reporting, and leadership skills.
