Safety Officer

We are looking for a qualified Safety Officer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The Safety Officer will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards across all site operations. The ideal candidate must have strong knowledge of UAE safety regulations and prior experience in managing workplace safety in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor health and safety policies, procedures, and programs.
• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards.
• Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws, HSE regulations, and company policies.
• Deliver safety training and toolbox talks to site staff and workers.
• Investigate and report incidents, accidents, and near misses, with corrective action plans.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, safety meetings, and training sessions.
• Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and management to promote a safety-first culture.
• Prepare and submit safety reports to management and authorities as required.

Requirements:

• Minimum 3–5 years of Safety Officer experience in the UAE (construction sector preferred).
• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety / Engineering or related field.
• NEBOSH / IOSH / OSHA certification (mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of UAE safety standards, codes of practice, and legal requirements.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to handle emergency situations and provide solutions quickly.
• Proficiency in English (Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is an advantage).

Employment Details:

• Salary: AED 4,000 – 5,000 (depending on experience and qualifications)
