SAFETY OFFICER

ACTS, Qatar is currently looking to hire a Temporary safety officer with the below qualifications and experience;

• Enforce compliance with HSE policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements in all offshore activities.
• Conduct daily safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify potential hazards and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Conduct toolbox talks, safety inductions, and regular HSE training for all site personnel.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare reports with root cause analysis and recommendations.
• Ensure availability, proper use, and maintenance of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Assist in the preparation, review, and updating of offshore emergency response and evacuation plans.
• Promote and maintain a strong safety culture through continuous awareness campaigns and initiatives.
• Liaise with client representatives, contractors, and authorities regarding safety compliance and audits.
• Maintain up-to-date documentation on safety inspections, incident reports, and regulatory compliance records.

Requirements;

• NEBOSH International General Certificate (IGC) or equivalent mandatory.
• Minimum 3–5 years’ experience as an HSE/Safety Officer in offshore oil & gas projects.
