Safety Officer

We're looking for a Safety Officer who is passionate about safety and have minimum 3 years experience in Bridge and Tunnel construction work . The Safety Officer will be responsible for creating and implementing safety programs, conducting safety audits, and investigating accidents. The Safety Officer will also be responsible for educating employees on safety procedures and promoting a safe work environment.

Safety Officer Duties:
1. Manage and oversee safety program for all staff
2. Develop and implement safety solutions for employees
3. Ensure that safety systems, policies, and procedures are in compliance with all applicable regulations
4. Encourage staff to follow safety procedures
5. Ensure that safety training programs are up to date
6. Complete required safety training
7. Obtain and maintain all permits needed
8. Guarantee that all employees follow the safety policies
9. Complete required safety training
10. Oversee and coordinate with insurance/risk management companies
11. Determine and implement corrective actions when safety violations occur
12. Maintain safety records
13. Ensure that all employees maintain required safety and training records
14. Meet safety audit requirements
15. Maintain job sites in a safe and clean condition
16. Supervise and inspect job sites
17. Oversee all safety and maintenance activities

Safety Officer Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate all safety-related activities, including training materials development and review, and conducting site inspections
2. Develop and manage company-wide safety programs, including training, job hazard analysis, and surveillance
3. Implement company-wide safety initiatives, including safety management systems, safety committee, safety meetings, and safety audits
4. Ensure procedures are followed, and that hazards are identified and addressed
Research, monitor, and assess workplace hazards, and coordinate and administer safety and health programs
5. Develop safety procedures and standards
6. Maintain and update accident investigation reports
7. Promote health and safety awareness among all employees
8. Promote the use of all safety equipment, including personal protective equipment
9. Perform other related duties as assigned.
