Safety Officer

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Safety Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate should have 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in implementing and monitoring workplace health and safety practices, ensuring compliance with HSE regulations, and promoting a safe working environment on site. Responsibilities:

• Conducting regular site inspections to identify and address potential health, safety, and environmental hazards.
• Developing, implementing, and maintaining HSE policies and procedures in compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
• Organizing and conducting safety training programs for construction and teams.
• Investigating incidents, accidents, or near misses, and preparing detailed reports with recommendations for corrective actions.
• Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE requirements into project planning and execution.
• Monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
• Ensuring that all personnel have access to and effectively use personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Advising on waste management and environmental sustainability practices in construction and landscape projects.

Qualifications:

• A bachelor's degree/Diploma (attested) in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or a related field.
• At least 3 years proven experience in MEP construction.
• NEBOSH Certification (Mandatory).
• Strong knowledge of ADOSH requirements.
• Background knowledge of ISO45001 / ISO14001.
