SAFETY OFFICER

Primary Purpose of the Job:

Inspect and audit the Industrial Cities Directorate and QatarEnergy Contractors work sites and systems based on the established Health, Safety & Environmental Management System guidelines from QatarEnergy Contractor requirements. ISO 9001 ,ISO 14001, OHSAS18001, and the Industrial Directorate Quality Management Systems. Record findings and implement a prograrn for corrective actions and follow up.

Required Experience and Skills:

8 years practical experience in the safety field out of which 5 years as a Safety Officer in Oil & Gas Industries or in a Petrochemical Environment/ Petrochemical

Educational Qualifications:

• Diploma in Safety Management and/or 8 years practical experience in the safety field out of which 5 years as a Safety Officer in Oil & Gas Industries or in a Petrochemical Environment/ Petrochemical Industrial City Environment.
• Strong written and spoken English skills
• Computer Competency in MS Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint
• Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills

• Excellent communication, administration and supervisory skills and be comfortable working in multinaüonal environment.
