SAFETY OFFICER

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs
  • Conduct risk assessments and hazard identification for all operations
  • Ensure compliance with local regulations and international HSE standards
  • Perform regular site inspections and safety audits
  • Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses; prepare reports and corrective actions
  • Provide HSE training, toolbox talks, and awareness programs for employees
  • Monitor environmental impact and ensure proper waste management practices
  • Maintain HSE documentation, records, and reports
  • Coordinate with management to improve workplace safety performance
  • Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field
  • Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in HSE roles (industry-specific preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of safety regulations and environmental standards
  • Experience in conducting audits and risk assessments
  • Proficiency in MS Office and reporting tools
